On Wednesday, all families received an EMAIL from The School Advisory Board regarding the tuition increase for the next school year. Families also received an email from Mrs. Jeanne Reilly, School Business Manager, with your required Tuition Commitment Form.  One commitment form is required per family by Tuesday, June 4. You may access the forms here:

Questions regarding tuition may be sent to Mrs. Reilly at reilly@stbarnabasparish.org.

PowerSchool Access and Report Cards

Today at 3pm, PowerSchool will be disabled as we prepare the Trimester 3 Report Cards. 8th-grade students will receive their report cards in the mail, and all other students will receive them on their final day of school.

We’re Hiring!

Help spread the word to your friends and family - we are hiring for the next school year and value recommendations for those who know and love St. Barnabas. If you (or someone you know) is interested in joining the St. Barnabas team, please email Mr. Stack - jstack@stbarnabasparish.org and Ms. Sadowski - gsadowski@stbarnabasparish.org.

Park Visits Next Week

Next week, many of our grades are planning picnics and play at some of the local parks. At the beginning of the school year, all parents/guardians signed approval for walking excursions to Hurley, Barnard, and Ridge Park. If you no longer wish for your child to travel to a local park, please notify their homeroom teacher this weekend.

Hot Lunch Ends Today

There is no hot lunch service during the final week of school, all students should bring a bagged lunch and a water bottle.

Lost and Found

Next week, the Lost and Found table will be outside of the school’s Main Entrance.  If you are missing something, please search!  There is a plethora of thins we hope can return to their original owner.  At the conclusion of the school year, all remaining items will be donated.

Uniform Exchange Collection

Our 7th-grade students are organizing a uniform exchange! Please consider donating uniforms you have outgrown (gym and regular). Items in clean and good condition may be dropped off in a collection bin in the Main Hallway during the week of June 3 and June 10. Next week's newsletter will provide more information about how and when you may claim items for the exchange. For questions, please contact Mrs. Molly McGowan at mmcgowan@stbarnabasparish.org.

Yearbook Pictures Needed

We are excited to announce the return of the yearbook for the 2023-2024 school year. The committee is in need of more photos that fall into the following categories. Please email any photos you have to stbyearbook2324@gmail.com. Please include the category, team, event, or grade in the subject line. If you have multiple photos from multiple events please send in separate emails.

THANK YOU

Spirit Day - Fond memories for a lifetime! A HUGE thank you to parents Lindsey Goodman and Melissa Kreikemeier for planning the day. If you recall, Spirit Day was almost canceled due to a lack of lead volunteers. Lindsey and Melissa heard the call and stepped up in a big way to make the day an incredible success! We also thank all the parent volunteers who generously gave their time, energy (and patience) to help out last Friday. It truly was a Great Day to Be a Buckeye!

Ridge Run Volunteers - Thank you to the volunteers who worked the water station in front of our school during the Ridge Run! Providing a friendly area to cheer on and refresh all the runners is an important part of living our root belief - We are called to nurture the mind, body and spirit.

Alumni Retreat Leaders - Thank you to the 13 members of the Class of 2020 who generously shared their time and spirit with the Class of 2024 at the 8th-grade retreat on Tuesday. It was a day filled with faith and connection and we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to connect these graduating 8th graders to the graduating seniors. Once a Buckeye, Always a Buckeye!
