Hidden Valley Wild Horse Image
YOU'RE DOING GREAT!!!!!!!
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SENT THEIR LETTERS TO HELP PROTECT THE WILD HORSES OF THE VIRGINIA RANGE!!!!!
YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THIS CAMPAIGN ON BEHALF OF THE WILD HORSES IS MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
YOUR VOICE HAS POWER AND YOU'RE USING IT TO SHOW THIS BOARD HOW MISGUIDED THEIR LATEST ATTACK IS ON OUR BELOVED WILD HORSES!!!!!

THE VIRGINIA RANGE WILD HORSES
STILL URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!

WE CONTINUE OUR FIGHT AGAINST the December 12, 2017 Nevada Board of Agriculture vote 8 to 1 in favor of transferring ownership of our precious wild ones over to some non-existent non-profit animal advocacy group - we ask you once again to send your letter to the next Nevada Board of Agriculture member -
Paul Anderson, Chairman of the Board

Not only is this action illegal, it is also irresponsible, and reprehensible!

Keep your letters, posts, messages, shares, and forwards coming!!!!!!!!

WE ARE NOT GOING AWAY!!!!
YOUR HELP IS NEEDED AGAIN MORE THAN EVER BEFORE!!!!!

HOW YOU CAN HELP - It's Easy!!!! It's URGENT!!!!

Our beloved wild horses have once again been put in dire straits by a mini-group of misinformed miscreants who are too blind to see the huge mistake they have made in misjudging the Power of the People!!!!!!!

LET THE ROAR CONTINUE!

ACTION ITEM - DAY 11

YOU CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN FOR THE WILD ONES!!!!

We are asking you to use your own words to the Nevada Board of Ag members. It's important that they hear from individuals, not just form letters. We've given you an intro and some talking points to consider. Use your own words to fill in the body of the email. You can keep it short and to the point, in fact that's best. Let them know that YOU want them to reverse their decision.

Some talking points -
  • what the Virginia Range wild horses mean to you
  • the majority of our community and business members want to see the horses remain on the range under humane management and oppose any decision that could put them at risk
  • the decision violates Nevada Revised Statute 569
  • the transfer would be costly to Nevada's taxpayers to implement under NRS 569
  • the Virgina Range wild horses are a draw for tourism dollars for our surrounding cities and towns, and a draw for incoming businesses
  • it would be impossible for a non-profit organization to secure liability insurance to cover these horses who roam on primarily privately owned tracts of land

Today's letter is going to Paul Anderson, Nevada Board of Agriculture member and Chairman of the Board!!!

  1. Open an email and copy and paste the letter (see below) into the body of the email
  2. Type your own words (deleting 'add your own comments here'), be brief but concise
  3. Type a.bartosz@agri.nv.gov in the "TO" box
  4. Type "Official Correspondence to the Nevada Board of Agriculture" in the subject line
  5. Type your Name and Address at the bottom of the letter under "Sincerely" - this will give your message legitimacy and identify it as coming from a human and not generated by a "robot" computer
  6. Hit SEND - you're done for Day #11!!!!

Dear Paul Anderson,

I oppose the decision you voted on at the Tuesday, December 12, 2017 meeting of the Nevada Board of Agriculture to transfer ownership of the Virginia Range feral/estray horses to a non-profit organization, and I am asking you to call a special meeting to reverse that decision.

{add your own comments here}

I urge you to do the right thing and reverse the decision to give away our Nevada icons.

Sincerely,

Name & Address
