University for Young People, Grades 1-3

Update: Create a New City, offered in week 1, is currently full. Students can be added to a waitlist and will be offered a spot if one becomes available.

Our youngest Bears can engage in one or two week-long courses in Creative Problem Solving this June. Students will be in class from 8:30-3:00 and have two course options available to help them build their creative and critical thinking skills: Create A New City and Archaeology. Students do not need to be identified as gifted to participate, and no testing is required for admission.

Update: We have opened registration for an additional online class, which will contain some independent asynchronous work and two live sessions in July.

Baylor TIP Intermediate classes are designed specifically for Baylor TIP Scholars who will be entering grades 4-6. Students can take one class for 3 hours per day, Monday-Friday, on campus in July. A residential option is not available for this age group. In addition to the Baylor TIP Intermediate courses, Baylor TIP Scholars in grades 4-6 may also register for the 3-week DECATS program in June.

DECATS, Grades 4-7

Thanks to a generous grant from the DeBusk Foundation, Baylor TIP will be hosting a DECATS camp for gifted students in grades 4-7 from June 3-21. Students who enroll will take 5 classes per day on Baylor's campus and will have the option of selecting their electives. Students must attend all three weeks. Families will be asked to provide proof of their child's GT identification upon registration, or they may sign up for testing to qualify at our Center upon registration. All Baylor TIP Intermediate Scholars qualify to attend.
