NAMI of Lansing announces a call for visual artists and writers to participate in their annual "Healing Through Art" fundraiser happening on Friday, March 3, 2023, at UrbanBeat in Old Town, Lansing. Deadline: Jan. 11, 2023.

The Arts Council announces a call to teachers for its Young Creatives Billboard Project. Teachers and homeschool educators who work with students ages K-12 in the Ingham, Eaton, or Clinton school districts are invited to submit one student artwork that is suitable for a digital billboard. The project launches in March 2023 and runs for a full month. Deadline: Jan. 30, 2023.

Foster Community Center in Lansing, Michigan, announces a call to local Eastside Lansing, Lansing and Greater Lansing artists who would like to exhibit their work in a small display case located in the Center. Chosen artist's work will be displayed for one to two months at a time. Artists who would like to sell their artwork could include contact info and instructions at the display. There is no formal application process. Interested artists should contact senior clerk Zacharie Spurlock with inquiries.

Rehmann and the Detroit Red Wings invite Red Wing fans to submit hockey-themed artwork based on the theme of driving net results on the ice. Artwork should focus on teamwork, winning plays, community and being a part of something greater than oneself. On Feb. 16, 2023, one winner will be chosen and receive a $5,000 cash prize and four Red Wings tickets. Their artwork will also join last year's winner in the Rehmann Club art gallery at Little Caesars Arena. Deadline: Feb. 1, 2023.

ARC Gallery in Chicago, Illinois, seeks entries for its juried art exhibition, "Color." Color is one of the most exciting elements of art. It personifies beauty, expresses emotion and creates a mood. Color is magical. Color is cultural. Color is symbolic. Color signifies. Help them transform and saturate the gallery with an exploration and celebration of color. All mediums and materials are eligible, including video and performance. Deadline: Dec. 30, 2022.

Perspective Gallery in Evanston, Illinois, announces a call to artists for a juried photography exhibition. This 13th annual international exhibition of fine art photography welcomes all subject matter and photographic processes. Photographers are invited to submit up to five photographic images in JPEG format, which have been created within the past five years. Deadline: Jan. 11, 2023.

Art Fluent invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to its online exhibit, "Art-SHE." Throughout the ages, women have held the world on their shoulders. Femininity conjures up deep emotions and feelings that are as vast and varied as there are people. Show us SHE from your perspective.

Applications are now open for the first Ingham County One and All Program! This cohort will run from February - April 2023 and has been generously funded by the Ingham County Board of Commissioners with money specifically reserved for small-business owners in Ingham County.

One and All is an eight-week program designed to support more equitable access to successful entrepreneurship and small-business ownership through a combination of webinar-based learning, networking, mentorship, business coaching, engagement with subject matter experts and access to an extended resource network.  Learn more.
