WAITLIST: We are happy to report we were able to open up more spots and that (all 50) people on our waitlist were given the opportunity to join us for the weeklong option. To be able to do this, we needed to work out some important logistical issues on our end to keep it an enjoyable experience for all, like:
- making sure our caterers could handle the extra servings
- recruiting more volunteers to be on hand for support
- hiring a shower truck service
Note: We are no longer taking new registrations or adding to a waitlist.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Our posted cancel by date is May 1. Requests to cancel need to be done by email. We will refund your registration fee, minus $100 (and the transaction fee that goes to GetMeRegistered and not us.)
After May 1, no refunds will be issued. We will allow transfers (that you find), pending our approval. Reminder, we no longer have a wait list.
THINGS WE'RE WORKING ON: Our planning committee is exploring lots of fun things for your enjoyment during the tour, like:
- live music at the campsites
- guest speakers from our host cities
- winery, brewery, and distillery trips
- Gale Woods Farm tour and Big Stone mini-golf
- lions, and tigers, and bears...OH MY...we're serious (Como Zoo)
ROUTES: The official routes, complete with maps, turn-by-turn directions, and more will be available in the May 15 email blast. We are still working out details and such, so please be patient. We use Ride w/ GPS and will also post files so you can print off your own paper copies.
CONNECTING WITH OTHER RIDERS: One of our veteran riders oversees a chat group page on Facebook, called TOM's Chain Gang, where you can introduce yourself, ask each other questions, etc. NOTE: This group is NOT an official part of the Tour of MN. We have our own separate FB page.
