Dr. Chong Yoke Sin (from Integrated Health Information Systems)

Chief Executive Officer


 

Dr Chong Yoke Sin is CEO of Integrated Health Information Systems, a subsidiary of Singapore's Health Ministry. IHiS architects, manages and operates highly integrated systems across Singapore's public healthcare sector, supporting over 40,000 users at all public hospitals, national specialty centres and polyclinics.

 

IHiS played a key role in five Singapore hospitals becoming the first public institutions in Asia Pacific to achieve HIMSS EMRAM Stage 6, an international benchmark for advanced technology used in patient care.

 

Dr Chong was previously CEO of NCS, the largest systems integration company in Singapore, and was instrumental in its growth as a regional IT company with businesses in China, Australia, Middle East and Southeast Asia.

 

Dr Chong is a worldwide Board member of Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), and Chair of HIMSS Asia Pacific governing council. She is also a Board member of National Kidney Foundation, Assisi Hospice, as well as a member of Republic Polytechnic's  Board of Governors and Chair of its School of Infocomm Technology. She has also been appointed as a board member of Sg Enable, a new organization formed under the arm of Ministry of Social and Family Development.

 

Dr Chong holds a PhD in Chemistry and attended the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School in 1998.  She is also a Certified Healthcare Informatics Management Professional (CPHIMS). Dr Chong received the National University of Singapore Outstanding Alumni Award in 2007.

David has 30 years IT experience across Australia, Europe and Asia Pacific. David has presented at many conferences and has been a regular speaker at ITSMF in Australia, and has written several whitepapers for the Australian ITSMF newsletters. David is strong supporter of innovation and driving Service Management out of IT and across the Enterprise and consults and presents to many customers on the benefits of moving to a Enterprise Service Management approach.

Matt supports strategy and planning, effective procurement processes, contract drafting, customer-side and supplier-side negotiations and training activities. He also covers commercial disputes and contentious matters, renegotiations, exits and termination.

Suresh GP, M-Tech is the Founder & Managing Director at TaUB Solutions & Board of Director of itSMF India. He has close to 14 Years of IT experience with 8 years at Hewlett Packard (HP). His expertise spans in different facets of ITSM, IT Governance, Project & Program Management and ISO Standards. 

 

Suresh's certifications include ITIL V3 Expert, CGEIT, PMP, ISO 20000 Practitioner and ISO/IEC 20000 & 27001 Lead Auditor. He is a regular blogger and speaker in National & International Forums like itSMF UK, itSMF Australia, itSMF NZ, SITS and won the itSMF Contributor award 2013 from itSMF Singapore.


 


Rama Prasad Mamidi (from Gemalto)

Rama has 24 years of experience covering Service Management, Transition & Transformation Management, Delivery Assurance, Business Analysis, Training, Technical Support, and Software Development. He is now working with Gemalto, taking care of Program delivery and Operational efficiency and managing Service Improvement Programs etc. 


 

Earlier to this role, Rama also successfully implemented Incident, Problem and Change management process for Gemalto. He also worked with bluechip companies like IBM, CSC M1 Ltd. Rama iscurrently Vice President for PMI Singapore Chapter, and was the Immediate Past President of itSMF Singapore Chapter.


 


Goh Boon Nam (from UXC-ISS)

Chief, New Initiatives and Strategic Planning

 

Boon Nam has over 20 years of management experience in IT, holding management portfolios in IT governance, planning, architecture, quality and process improvement, application development, operations, human resource development, financial management and outsourcing. He has also developed and implemented various IT management processes, and successfully led IT organisations in achieving CMMI Level 3.  At ISS, he oversees the initiation and incubation of new venture areas. In addition, he also teaches and consults on enterprise architecture, business analysis and IT process improvement (eg. IT service management and CMMI).

 


Rory Fitzpatrick (from Cloud Sherpas)

Manager, Asia


 

Rory has over 17 years' experience in sales and services management in Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific, with a focus on the Enterprise Software sector.  Rory ran the education services business for BMC Software across Asia Pacific before joining Cloud Sherpas, where their ServiceNow business has more than doubled in each of the last two years.

   


Balaji Bhakthavatchalam (from CSC Computer Sciences Corporation)

Client Services Director

 

Balaji is currently the Client Services Director for CSC Computer Sciences Corporation. He is currently heading pre-sales for CSC in Financial Services in AMEA (Africa,Middle East, Asia).

 

He possesses around 24 years of IT industry experience, in various leading organisations such as ITC Information Systems and CSC Computer Sciences Corporation. Of the total experience 21 years in CSC based in Singapore on a regional role deputed to Malaysia, Thailand, India to setup the delivery and pre-sales practice.

 

His experience spans over Business Development Support, P&L Responsibility for a geography, Responsible for utilization , Project/ Program Management, Services Management, Customer services, Service Level Management, IT budgeting. Instrumental in PMO office set-up for CSC project delivery in South Asia. He played a major role in selling professional services and building the consultancy business for CSC in South Asia.

 

His Hobbies are reading , listening to music and Table Tennis.

 

He holds a Masters in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and completed a Executive Leadership Diploma from Cornell University. 


 


Peter Edwards (from IBM Systems Middleware, ASEAN)

ITSM Solutions


 
Peter Edwards is a leader for IT Service Management and IT Optimization software solutions in ASEAN. He has been employed by IBM Singapore for over 14 years, and has had various roles in both the IBM Software Group and Technical Services, covering the ASEAN and Asia Pacific region.

 

Peter is certified in ITIL v3 to Expert level, and has extensive experience in planning, designing and implementing a holistic Service Management framework for IBM customers. He regularly works with clients to identify high priority requirements, and develop the architecture for a solution to address IT and business issues.

 

Peter has been working in the IT industry for 30 years and has many years of consulting experience whilst working at IBM, PWC, HP and a software vendor.

 


Philippa Penfold (from Singapore Project Management Institute)

Board Member


 
During Philippa's 15 years in HR she has worked in senior roles across various industries including Mining, Bnking, Insurance, IT, Legal and Professional Services in companies from start-up ventures to MNC's. Philippa has a wealth of knowledge about the different cultures and business practices in Asia, having lived and worked across multiple countries.


 

Philippa has lead HR projects with geographically dispersed multicultural teams and participated in complex projects including M&A deal teams. Though experienced in many areas of HR, Philippa's more recent experience includes Leadership Development, Organisation Development, Change Management, Communication and Project Management. 


 

Philippa has a Masters of Science in Human Resource Management (USA), a Postgraduate Certificate in Change Management (Australia) and is currently undertaking a Postgraduate Diploma in Strategy and Innovation at Oxford University's Said Business School. She holds certification as a Global Human Resources Professional (GPHR) through the Human Capital Institute and is a PRINCE2 Practitioner and Prosci Change Management Practitioner.  


 


Tom Heckroth (from Neptune Orient Lines Ltd)
Director, Global Data Centres

Tom culminated a 25 year career in the United States Marine Corps with completion of a Masters in ITM from the US Naval Post Graduate School and a final assignment as the PM for Global Command and Control System and Satellite Systems at the US Transportation Command at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. Since leaving the military, he has been a Regional Transition Manager with Electronic Data Systems/HP ensuring the  Pacific North West and Hawaii transitions to the Navy/Marine Corps Intranet and stand up of the operations teams at the PNW and key Hawaii naval bases as a Client Delivery Executive. Next, he moved on to Director of operations for the Singapore Government with the take up of "As Is" services and transition of services for the Singapore Government Common Operating Environment for 77 agencies, building a team of over 1000 at the apex of the program. He is currently the Director of Data Center Services for Neptune Orient Lines, which includes Service Management for the Global Organization.


David Wall (from xMatters)

Michael Collins (from xMatters)
Director, Technical Sales Advisor

Michael's work experience includes over 15 years of experience in technical services, insider knowledge from work with telecom and wireless network providers, and technology application advocacy from both systems integration and vendor perspectives. He began his career as one of the first employees of the Sprint PCS joint venture, working on the design and implementation team for the Sprint wireless network. After working with IBM Global Services on a Y2K internal and customer network management conversion project, Michael returned to Sprint and was a committee member tasked with combining the IT services infrastructure of their Local, Long Distance and Wireless divisions. Now with an additional eight years experience as a services engineer in wireless messaging and event notification technologies, he works with xMatters as a Director, Technical Sales Advisor for the Asia Pacific Japan region out of Sydney, Australia.
