SERVING OTHERS

CHILDREN'S COAT HANGERS NEEDED - The Thrift Store is in need of coat hangers for children's clothing. If you have extra, please bring them to the church or The Thrift Store. Thank you!

FOOD BUCKETS - Concord will once again be participating in the Holston Conference Hands-on Mission Project and provide food buckets to the Zimbabwe Ishe Anesu Project for Underprivileged Children. Our goal is to put together 50 buckets. This will pay for the food (canned chicken, sugar, flour, rice, dried beans, dried milk and vegetable oil), bucket, lid, and shipping. You can give online at concordunited.org/give and select Food Buckets or with a check with Food Buckets in the memo line.

CONCORD WELCOMES MORGAN ECKLES

AS THE NEW ASSISTANT

CHILDREN'S DIRECTOR

We're thrilled to share the exciting news that Morgan Eckles is joining us as our new Assistant Children's Director! Morgan, along with her family, has been an integral part of the Concord community since November 2016. Her official start date is May 21st. When you see her around the church, please take a moment to introduce yourself and extend a warm welcome, ensuring she feels embraced and valued from day one.

Hello CUMC family! My name is Morgan Eckles, and I am thrilled to join Victoria in our children's ministry! My family and I have been church members since we moved to Knoxville almost nine years ago, and my children grew up in our church and loved their time in our children's ministry. I'm married to my high school sweetheart, and we have four children: Army, 19, Aggie, 18, and twins, Abe and Abby Lu who are 15.

I have worked in education and with children all my working career and through graduate school as I pursued degrees in counseling psychology and education. I am excited to be a part of this time of growth in our church and our children's ministry specifically. Great things are ahead for our church, and I look forward to meeting everyone and building relationships that connect, serve, and grow our church families.  ~ In Joy, Morgan
