A few weeks ago I get a call telling me I've been chosen
as one of nine artists across the country
(and the ONLY artist from Texas)
to perform my music live for Juanes!
-- pause for girlie screams and jumping!!! --If you don't know who Juanes is, well... shame, shame.
If you do, then I'm sure you understand my
squeals of excitement.
Long story short, I was able to meet, play for, and receive
personal feedback from one of Latin music's most renowned stars,
and a musical hero of mine,
while sharing the stage with some incredible
bands, including
Las Cafeteras and
Radial.
Thanks to everyone who partied with us at the show -- thanks to the
San Antonio Express-News for the
shout out!
And now, for this weekend's excitement...

In the world of the new album, we are busy busy, knocking out
photos for album art, solidifying the promo team, finding
the perfect filmmakers for the music videos,
and planning the CD release party, which will be in November!
I wish all of you the very best and hope to see y'all this weekend.
Oh, and before I go, a huge congratulations to
our conguero Jerry Ronquillo for making it through
rigorous tests and training to become
one of Austin's newest (and cutest) FIREFIGHTERS!
