Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
There are so many issues sparked by speakers, demonstrators and exhibits at the Democratic convention: abortion, antisemitism, false grandeur/pride.
But one key phrase given by President Biden is an issue for each of us to look at: what I call the false trinity. Biden said: " Family: the beginning, the middle, and the end."
No! That is the spirit of the anti-Christ speaking through him. Jesus said, Matthew 10: 34-39: " Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man's enemies will be those of his own household.' He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loves his life for My sake will find it."
I grew up in a household where occasionally I went to church with my grandmother or with my mom, and at the same time my dad, after dinner and a few drinks, often would give us his version of life: " you have your family, your friends, and your health."
NO! That's the same old pagan playbook, the false trinity! It's about placement: is Almighty God first? Or is your love of children and grandchildren first? Take time today with the LORD and ask Him if you need any refocusing. Read Matthew 10: 34-39 out loud; it's a Truth easily lost in this secular culture.
Once He's first, your love can pour out on your family and others.
