Resources for the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act

On December 22, 2017, President Trump signed into law the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, and it went into affect on January 1, 2018. Early versions of the act caused uncertainly surrounding the future of several housing programs like Private Activity Bonds and the Mortgage Credit Certificate program.  However, the final version of the act left those programs intact.

Below are resources you may find helpful to determine how the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act impacts you, your organization, and the programs you administer.

Help Us Find Local Partners

TSAHC is actively seeking nonprofit or for-profit partners in  Laredo or  Del Rio. Through a partnership with  Texas Community Bank, we have funding to invest in these areas for single-family rehabilitation or new construction as part of our Affordable Communities of Texas (ACT) program.

In addition to this opportunity, we continue to actively seek nonprofit or for-profit partners in Dallas,  Bastrop Wichita Falls  and  Lufkin .  If you currently work or would consider working in any of these communities, please let us know. Or let us know if you recommend a partner we should contact.
