Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
As a child, in what I now can see was a lukewarm church, I never recall hearing the Word of God from the prophet Isaiah taught. But today, I read Isaiah as if he's a vital resource in these end times in the spiritual battle going on in our personal lives and for all nations. This includes the USA Presidential election. I'm seeking to follow His everlasting LIGHT even with all the flawed candidates, including President Trump.
Here's my focus on that election from the Holy Spirit's Words, spoken by Isaiah 60:19-22 (amplified version):
“The sun will no longer be your light by day,
Nor shall the bright glow of the moon give light to you,
But the Lord will be an everlasting light for you;
And your God will be your glory and splendor.
“Your sun will no longer set,
Nor will your moon wane;
For the Lord will be your everlasting light,
And the days of your mourning will be over.
“Then all your people will be [uncompromisingly and consistently] righteous;
They will possess the land forever,
The branch of My planting,
The work of My hands,
That I may be glorified.
“The smallest one will become a thousand (a clan),
And the least one a mighty nation.
I, the Lord, will quicken it in its [appointed] time.”
I believe this was written not just for Israel but for those nations also grafted in to it by Covenant, as was the USA. So this is all in the Lord's Hands; as President John Quincy Adams--perhaps the most devout Christian who ever served in the White House--- once said: "the duty is ours; the results are of the Lord." Our duty is to follow the everlasting LIGHT, freely choose to repent, join His Kingdom, and then take up the cross Jesus/Yeshua hands us. Jesus said: " And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his live for My sake will find it." (Matthew 10:38,39).
Taking up His cross we are then called to "shine as lights in the world" including voting in all elections, or becoming President, like Adams or his father, John Adams, all as the Lord leads and for His Glory: " Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world..." (Philippians 2: 14,15)

Apostle Alton Williams of the World Overcomers Church has produced an excellent video urging all to vote in the USA Presidential election in a Godly direction. He asks: "which kingdom will rule America?" He invites his congregation to "look at the camp of the ungodly, and then go to the opposite."
