Using Maps in Genealogical Research - Part 1  (Class)

We will look at the many ways genealogists use maps in their research. There are multiple types of maps, which can be found in many ways; We will talk about the different collections available. The most useful map may not be a “map,” so we will also explore other means of searching a location.

An offering by another genealogy society . . .


The Broomfield Genealogy Society will be hosting an eight-part (once a month) class on using the genealogical proof standard. This class is open to all members of genealogical societies around Colorado.


Starting April 9 at 7:00 pm, the class will use the National Genealogical Society’s book, Mastering Genealogical Proof by Thomas W. Jones.
