Volunteers Needed for Jewish Consumptives Relief Society (JCRS) Indexing

The ongoing JGSCO (Jewish Genealogical Society of Colorado) volunteer project at University of Denver continues through the summer. Please commit to joining us for one or more Mondays from 10 am to 3 pm with a lunch break. There’s air conditioning, reimbursed parking, and free lunch included, and you will be helping with mitzvah work while learning about fascinating Denver history!

The goal is to create a full index to the complete JCRS patient application collection. You will read from historical records and key primary data into a spreadsheet provided by the archive. For history about the project, visit https://www.jewishgen.org/databases/USA/JCRS.htm.
