GREETINGS FROM SPARTAN LANE

Congratulations to each Spartan for winding down another positive academic year with us. We know that our students work hard and achieve meaningful results. As such, we feel great about the positive influence on our students’ lives in all grade levels and our value proposition. Our teachers love and support their students and that is what makes our program so successful. Recently, we hosted an Atlanta alumni gathering and it was fantastic to hear the many success stories of our graduates, whether they are working for start-ups, finance, or in education. Our alumni are thriving, and it is always good to see them on campus and hear from them. At commencement last Sunday, our alumni ranks grew as we celebrated the many accomplishments of the Class of 2024.

As we usher our students into summer holiday, we also welcome construction crews to campus to make improvements for the coming year. We have several exciting projects underway:

  • Renovation of 9,000 sq. ft. of Erwin Hall, home to grades 3 and 4, maker space, world languages, extended day and more
  • Construction of a new tennis building, including locker rooms, bathrooms, storage and an office
  • Repaving 60% of our campus roadways and parking lots
  • Upgrades to campus technology and other infrastructure and mechanical systems

These projects are a result of our community’s philanthropic support and good stewardship of our resources. Thank you to those of you who have gone above and beyond in your support of our school. This summer alone, we will be investing more than $3,500,000 into our physical plant, and our students are the direct beneficiaries of this important work. Read more.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CLASS OF 2024!

Congratulations to the Class of 2024 for their beautiful commencement this past Sunday afternoon! This class of 76 newly-minted alumni will be attending 41 different colleges and universities across 18 states and Canada, including Princeton, Cornell, Vanderbilt, UChicago, UNC Chapel Hill, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Military Academy (West Point), and more. Seventeen graduates will attend the University of Georgia or Georgia Tech, and eight will participate in collegiate athletics. Together they earned almost $5 million in merit scholarships (not including HOPE or Zell Miller)! They are actors, artists, athletes, and academics, and we are proud of their hard work and leadership. Way to go, Spartans!
