Fourth of July event schedule filled with fun at Country Club


A full day of fun is planned on Thursday, July 4th at the Country Club, followed by the popular annual fireworks show at 9 p.m.


Parking is limited, so ride sharing is recommended. as are lawn chairs or blankets. No personal fireworks allowed, other than sparklers, and dogs must be leashed at all times.


Parking lot for cars only, golf carts can park on grass. Call the Country Club at (561) 296-1070 for more info.

Village firefighters urge fireworks safety on July 4th


The North Palm Beach Fire Rescue Department reminds you that fireworks can be dangerous. If you use them, please follow these important safety tips: 

  • Use fireworks outdoors ONLY.
  • Read and follow all instructions on fireworks.
  • Obey all local laws when using fireworks.
  • Closely supervise children.
  • Only adults should ignite the fireworks.
  • Always have a bucket of water or sand nearby.
  • Do not consume alcohol while using fireworks.
  • Never try to reignite used or faulty fireworks.
  • Consider attending the Village fireworks display as a safer option.


Council bans most smoking in Village parks


At their June 27 meeting, the Village Council approved on 2nd reading an ordinance to ban smoking in Village parks. The new ordinance does not ban unfiltered cigars. They also increased compensation for Council members beginning in 2025, approved various contracts for Village work, and conducted other business.

PZAB will review proposed Comp Plan changes Tuesday


At their meeting on Tuesday, July 2 at 6:30 p.m., the Planning, Zoning and Adjustment Board (PZAB) will hold a workshop to review proposed amendment changes to the Village Comprehensive Plan. Open to public and streamed online.

Council welcomes new Palm Beach Gardens High Principal


The Village Council was delighted to welcome our community's newest high school principal, Michelle Fleming, at Thursday's meeting. Pictured here with four Council members, Ms. Fleming stopped by to introduce herself and share her vision. The Council was grateful for her outreach and enthusiastic about future collaboration to benefit high school students in the Village. Thank you, Ms. Fleming for stopping by. The Village wishes you all the best in your new leadership role!

Newest Council members get active with storm preparation


Our newest Council members spent some time this week with Palm Beach County's Emergency Management team getting details about hurricane preparedness plans and procedures at the government level. Anchorage Aweigh Fishing Tournament is Sat., Aug. 10


Join our Annual Anchorage Aweigh Fishing Tournament at Anchorage Park on Saturday, August 10. This popular recreational tournament is for adults and youth, with a Kid's Fishing Derby, awards, a cookout, lots of fish tales and bragging rights for a year for the winners. Sponsorship opportunities are available!

Ice machine now at Anchorage Park boat ramp


A Fill-More Ice and Water vending machine is now available at the Anchorage Park boat ramp! You can fill your coolers with ice or use the provided bags, and filtered water is also on hand to keep you hydrated. This new addition will be a big convenience for your next party, fishing trip, leisurely day on the boat, or any other ice needs you have. Cost is $3.50 for 10 pounds.

Can you serve on the Business Advisory Board or another Village committee?


Give back to your community by volunteering for a Village Board or Committee and play an important role in advising the Council on key issues and policies.

Business Tax Receipt activity going online Monday, July 1


Starting Monday, July 1, you can register and renew your Village Business Tax Receipt online, making it easier than ever to handle your forms and payments. Just a reminder: renewals are due by September 30. Be sure to get yours in on time to avoid a late fee, which kicks in on October 1.

Tennis lessons temporarily moved to Anchorage Park


Because of construction, the North Palm Beach Country Club tennis instructors will be providing lessons and clinics at the Anchorage Park tennis courts from May 6-July 10.

Village has several openings for full and part-time positions


The Village is hiring a Solid Waste Driver, a Lifeguard, a Recreation Assistant, a Tennis Shop Attendant, and more.
