& Mission Focus
El Ayudante Ministry

EA cares for 31 children and their families through our Nicaraguan Christian Home known as the HCN. They work daily with each child and their family in our mission to improve quality of life by providing housing, excellence in education, job skills, nutritious meals, medical care, and spiritual nurturing, all with the purpose of bringing holistic change.

EA also hosts approximately 20-30 short-term ministry teams each year from the United States to work with local Nicaraguan community leaders toward bringing tangible, holistic change in people’s lives in the areas of spirituality, education, medicine, construction, and training. God is doing amazing things through EA and their local communities!

This full-scale production from the Theatre Memphis season is a charming and heartfelt story that has become a classic. The bond among a group of Southern women shows as they deal with the good fortune and tragedy that comes to them. It is a touching portrait of women that celebrates their strength as humor and irony abound with charming yet powerfully comedic sensibility. Steel Magnolias is presented as a part of the Creative Aging Concert Series for Senior Adults. Sensational and Magical. The classic saga of rags to romance is wonderfully captured with all the wonderment that comes with a fairytale. A mistreated young girl finds her way to a Prince’s Ball with the help of a Fairy Godmother’s spell. The Prince and the girl fall immediately in love, but fearful of her true identity being discovered when the spell expires, the girl flees and in her haste loses a glass slipper on the castle staircase. Thus ensues a search for her and a happy ever after. Please reserve your ticket through the SignUp Genius link available in the weekly eNews or contact hcrone@covenantumc.org. Thank you!
