  • AC work is underway. We appreciate your patience with this.
  • Next steps for the St. Barnabas as we continue our Journey in Faith together
  • We continue to work on scheduling supply clergy for all Sunday services.
  • Morning prayer service will be held if & when needed.
  • Jack and Jay are in continuous dialogue with the Bishop’s office during this time.

If you have specific questions, or concerns please ask a vestry member, or reach out to Jay and Jack... We are here to help during this transition.

First Friday Walk for Justice and Peace

  • Friday, August 2, 2024
  • 5:30 to 6:00 p.m.
  • Rain or shine
  • Start at the Episcopal Church of Saints Andrew and Matthew (SsAM) 719 N. Shipley Street
  • End at Rodney Square

Join us on a sunny summer afternoon for this peaceful, prayerful walk through the center of Wilmington to promote an end to racial and social injustice and to reduce gun violence in our city. We gather in the SsAM parking lot with people from various faith communities to share in this active, visible commitment to justice and peace. We walk in silence, ending at Rodney Square. Many participants wear orange in support of gun safety.

Bazaar Jewelry News From Linda Hardy

Thank you for your generous contributions to the jewelry table for the bazaar. What fun it was to see such beautiful gems and, as one store advertises, wearable art! We accept jewelry all through the year and, usually, donations until August will be shown in that year's bazaar. The items we get after August will be placed in the bazaar for the next year.

Jewelry pricing parties:  Wednesday, August 7 at 1:30 p.m. We'll meet in the lounge. Bring a friend. And, if you can, bring a ball point pen [no markers], and/or a twelve-inch ruler; I have enough scissors for all. We'll also need some nonglare tape.

Food will be served--something sandwichy, something cookieish and iced tea. Please let me know if you can come! -Linda Hardy 302 235 8612 or lindadhardy@comcast.net

  • Submit prayer requests to the Office by 9 p.m. on Tuesdays for inclusion in Sunday's bulletin
