 Bi cycle Friendly Community
The City of Highland Park has been awarded a Bicycle Friendly Community designation at the Bronze level by the League of American Bicyclists. The League reserves this award for select communities with impressive commitments to bicycling. 
A Bike Friendly Community welcomes bicyclists by providing safe accommodations for bicycling and encouraging people to bike for transportation and recreation. Bike  Fix-It Station
The City introduces its first Bike Fix-it Station, which is located on the Robert McClory Trail just north of Roger Williams on the north side of the Ravinia Train Station lot. The station is equipped with everything needed to easily make simple bike repairs on the go. A heavy duty air pump and an assortment of tools are securely attached to each stand with stainless steel cables and tamper-proof fasteners. Learn more about biking and walking in Highland Park...
Senior Offerings
The City's Division of Senior Services provides health, recreational, cultural, educational, and counseling services to the City's senior population. The Highland Park Senior Center offers countless opportunities and services to Highland Park seniors ages 50 and better! Ravinia Festival Concert Parking
Traffic delays are anticipated along Green Bay Road this evening as a section of Ravinia Festival's main parking lot remains unusable due to flooding. Police Officers will be on site for traffic control and public safety. Ravinia attendees are encouraged to use the free Ravinia Festival Park-N-Ride shuttle service.
