Three CHREF Scholarships Awarded

The CHREF Scholarship committee interviewed FRCC students in April and awarded three scholarships: Owen O’Brien, Gwendolyn Jones, and James Weimar were all selected to receive scholarships.

Owen will graduate in December 2024 and is currently working as a work study student lab assistant in the Westminster Campus Greenhouse, as well as interning at The Flower Bin in Longmont. Gwendolyn will graduate in May 2024, is a fairly recent transplant to Colorado, and is excited about working in horticulture in our state. James is a first generation college student from an immigrant parent, military retiree and cancer survivor, and will graduate in December 2024.

Congratulations to our newest scholarship recipients!
