The Zondervan/Nelson Comfort Print Series
NIV & NKJV
Zondervan and Nelson have created a new premium Bible line called the ' Comfort Print Series .' Here are some introductory remarks about the NIV and NKJV Bibles. Both translations have a single column version and a thinline version with the standard double column format. The NKJV Bibles have cross references; the NIVs do not. All of these Bibles have the 'standard' premium treatment: art-gilt edging, gilt line, goatskin covers, edge-lined binding, smyth sewn signatures, rounded corners. line matching (except for the NKJV Thinline and KJV Giant Print - more on KJV version at a later date) and high quality paper. Very impressive for a first attempt at premium bindings. The Comfort Print Series have taken time to study the leaders in the premium Bible market - which will be obvious to those who are familiar with Schuyler & Cambridge in particular.
