Sharing Christ, Changing Lives!
Plan to join us this Sunday, November 15, 2020 for our Communion Services at 8:30am and 10:00am located inside the Sanctuary.

We encourage you to invite your family and friends, and while wearing your mask, join your brothers and sisters in Christ for a responsible social distance worship experience!
Zion serves Communion on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month at our in person service. However, we also remain available to provide “touchless” communion to you at your home. Simply request a kit through the church office or click here to sign up for an @Home Communion Kit.

Although we encourage you to join us in the Sanctuary, if you are unable to join us in person, we encourage you to watch the FaceBook Live streaming of our services at 8:30 & 10 AM. Our weekly Zion Buzz newsletter will have a copy of the service bulletin with the words to the liturgy, scriptures, songs and prayers so that you can join us in lifting your hearts and voices in worship.

We are continuing to take reservations (RSVP) for the time being so that we can ensure the health and safety of all who are attending. Let us know you're coming by registering yourself and your family. Please note, that an RSVP is required by all people including children.

Please remember to pray for…
  • Richard Grice, former principal of Zion Lutheran School, passed away on Thursday, November 5. Please keep his wonderful wife (Karen) and their family in your prayers for God’s loving comfort and peace that surpasses all understanding during this most difficult time.
  • Praise Report for Zion ECEC Student, Jade, PET scan shows 98% Cancer-FREE!!! They are doing 2 more rounds (21 days each) of chemo just to make sure all is gone. God is so good and is answering all our prayers! Mom is so humbled and thankful for everyone’s prayers and support. Keep on PRAYING!!!
  • Prayers for healing & comfort for the Becerra Family, friends of Roanne, as they recover from Covid-19.
  • Please pray for Tina, sister of a friend of Annie Kupfrian, as she is recovering from major colon surgery. She is a wife and working mother of 2 young children. Please pray the good Lord will bless her with strength, hope and endurance for a complete recovery. Also pray for her entire family, surround them with His love as they help support Tina through the days and weeks to come.
  • Zion School Parent, Melissa Ferguson has just begun her next round of chemotherapy sessions along with taking pills from home. Please pray for little or no side effects! We keep our faith in God for a complete healing. Melissa is so very thankful for all your prayers, please keep them coming!
  • Prayer request for the healing hand of our Father for Bill Pollak, friend of Glenda Flora, as he recovers from heart surgery. Also for strength and support for his wife, Patty, and his sons.
  • Prayers for Calvin Jin, friend of Glenda Flora, as he continues his cancer treatment and begins clinical trials.
  • Continue to keep Nikki McGannon, niece of Sharon Beaudoin, in your prayers for discernment and peace, as she is having further testing and needing to make some very important health decisions.
  • First Responders - For protection, provision and encouragement for our first responders who serve our communities faithfully and sacrificially, facing risks every day on our behalf in order to preserve the peace, our lives and property.
  • Infection rates to slow and cease; that those who have been infected will heal quickly; that healthcare staff and first responders will be sustained as they carry this very heavy burden; that our churches, schools and preschools would be sustained and reliant on our loving God and His guidance; for courage and peace for our pastors, lay leaders, church and school administrators, faculties, and all church and school workers who are making difficult decisions, creating innovative solutions for continuing to reach people for the sake of the Gospel; for our federal, state and local leaders to seek God's will as they make important decisions and take actions against this disease; for God to bring many, many people to faith through this situation, and that His Church would be more effective than ever in sharing the Gospel with the lost and loving our neighbors.
Our Gracious Heavenly Father,
We cry out to you for mercy during these difficult days. Please, O God, heal our land, bring peace to our neighborhoods and cities, and tear down the walls of hate and injustice that divide us. Raise up your church to be a life-giving force - ambassadors of reconciliation. Empower us for action that we will do more than talk - for it is time to act. May we model for our world the oneness in Christ, who alone is the hope of the world. Give wisdom to our civil authorities and faith leaders to make decisions and lead in directions that will result in repentance, healing, forgiveness, new directions, and peace. We pray this in the powerful name of the Savior of all, Jesus the Christ. Amen.

Zion is Offering Communion @ Home Kits
Have You Missed Communion?
Zion Elders want to extend the opportunity to share in Holy Communion during social distancing.

We are hoping to do all we can by offering this resource for those that are unable to make it to church or just not ready to return to the church for physical worship and communion. We want you to remain safe and secure in every decision you make.

In doing so, we would like to offer you with the opportunity for a home delivery kit of the Communion Elements, followed up by a call from a Zion Elder who will administer communion with you over the phone.
Once you're request form has been submitted you will receive a confirmation email from Google Forms. Zion will then contact you to set up a time to drive over and deliver the kit to your home.
