Sharing Christ, Changing Lives!
Have You RSVP'd for Church on Sunday?
Hello Zion Family & Friends
In an effort to observe social distancing guidelines and provide the best worship experience to our congregation, we will have two services on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at 8:30am and 10:00am.  Please note, that each service has been condensed to 45minutes to one hour. Being on time is a precious gift that you give to what really matters.

We are continuing to take reservations (RSVP) for the time being so that we can ensure the health and safety of all who are attending. Let us know you're coming by registering yourself and your family.  Please note, that an RSVP is required by all people including children.

We can't wait to worship and fellowship with you!

Please remember to pray for…
  • Anneliese, daughter of Tom & Annie Kupfrian, has tested positive for the coronavirus on Saturday. She has been leading kayak tours in Seward, Alaska for the summer. She will be isolated for 2 weeks and so far is experiencing mild symptoms. Join us in praying for a complete healing for Anneliese and for her to feel God’s comforting peace & love as she is recovering away from her family. Also prayers of comfort for mom & dad :)
  • Continued prayers for Nikki McGannon, niece of Sharon Beaudoin, who is still undergoing chemo therapy for cancer. She has recently received good reports from MRI that there are no new spots on her brain. Praise the Lord for that and we ask for continued strength, peace and comfort for Nikki as she waits upon the Lord for a complete healing.
  • Update on ECEC School parent, Jeffery Martinez, is well on his way to recovery from a mild case of the COVID virus. The entire family has been quarantined. Please continue to pray for Jeffery to see a full and complete recovery very soon and that the Martinez family continue to remain safe and Covid free!
  • Update from Zion School Parent, Melissa Ferguson, she “is 2/3 done with her chemo treatments with 4 more big treatments ahead (two in July and August). Then hopefully healed and done. God gets all the glory.” Please continue to pray for pain relief, a complete healing and rest for her body and soul. We keep our HOPE in Christ! This is Melissa's Victory Verse: Jeremiah 29:11
  • Calvin Jin, friend of Glenda Flora, as he deals with a serious medical diagnosis, for the guidance and talent of his doctors and the loving support and faith of his family.
  • Continued prayers for Jackie Salonisen, who is now home with hospice care. May God who understands each and every need, who listens to every prayer, bless and keep Jackie and her family in His tender loving care.
  • Infection rates to slow and cease; that those who have been infected will heal quickly; that healthcare staff and first responders will be sustained as they carry this very heavy burden; that our churches, schools and preschools would be sustained and reliant on our loving God and His guidance; for courage and peace for our pastors, lay leaders, church and school administrators, faculties, and all church and school workers who are making difficult decisions, creating innovative solutions for continuing to reach people for the sake of the Gospel; for our federal, state and local leaders to seek God's will as they make important decisions and take actions against this disease; for God to bring many, many people to faith through this situation, and that His Church would be more effective than ever in sharing the Gospel with the lost and loving our neighbors.
  • All our church and school families. We pray for our families whose members are on the front lines working in health care, law enforcement, public service, food industries / services, new media, financial institutions, construction, safety, sanitation and many more. We pray for our families who are worried about finances, and for our families who have health concerns.

Praise Reports & Thank You’s
Thank You to the Zion Family for all the prayers for my parents. They are able to visit for a little while everyday now. Both of them are so grateful for their precious time together. - Lisa Kott

Zion is Offering Communion @ Home Kits
Have You Missed Communion?
Zion Elders want to extend the opportunity to share in Holy Communion during social distancing.

We are hoping to do all we can by offering this resource for those that are unable to make it to church or just not ready to return to the church for physical worship and communion. We want you to remain safe and secure in every decision you make.

In doing so, we would like to offer you with the opportunity for a home delivery kit of the Communion Elements, followed up by a call from a Zion Elder who will administer communion with you over the phone.
Once you're request form has been submitted you will receive a confirmation email from Google Forms. Zion will then contact you to set up a time to drive over and deliver the kit to your home.
