When I first came into the shelter, I had an ouchie on my front paw where a few of my toes were missing. ❤️🩹 It hurt a lot, and I wasn't using my leg at all. 😢 The nice people here at AARCS decided that the best way to help me was to amputate my leg. It was a tough decision, but it meant I wouldn't be in pain anymore!
After the surgery, I was still hurting – I mean, removing a leg is a pretty big deal! 🏥 The wonderful veterinary team here made sure I had plenty of pain medications and even started laser therapy to help me heal. I'm happy to report that I'm feeling so much better now! 💚 My stitches are almost ready to come out, and I've been having a blast playing with my favourite toy in my run at the shelter
