Our Yucatán Carnival tour offers the curious traveler an un-paralleled look into the vibrant, animated culture and cuisine of the Yucatán peninsula. Together we will experience the best of the Yucatán through an in-depth exploration of the region's gastronomy, and will partake in cooking classes, dining experiences, and visits with old friends and local chefs. Travelers will cook in a range of Yucatán kitchens, will learn to make regional specialties, and even catch saltwater fish to make ceviche from their own fresh catch. The tour will also explore Yucatán culture, and guests will take in the spectacle of the famed Carnival celebrations through four unique carnival parades. We will also visit several famous archaeological sites, tour museums, go bird watching, take a dip in the cenotes (sacred watering holes) and of course soak up the sun on the stunning Mexican beaches with a cocktail in hand.
