The date is 10-4 and that takes my mind places. Truckers all over America have used that phrase throughout the past decades to acknowledge their CB radio buddies. Responding with a hearty "10-4" was a way of saying, "I hear ya!" It meant that your words were transmitted across the radio waves... It meant that they were received... And, it meant they were understood. What a wonderful thing it is to be heard! I can't imagine how encouraging it was for those drivers to hear those words. How amazing it must have been to hear the voice of a friend answer back! I am sure it made all those lonely miles bearable. It was medicine to their soul, just knowing that they were heard as they drove thru the night.

It's the same way for us. We need that same interaction. It's wonderful to know that you are not alone out there on the roadways of life. I don't know about you, but I am glad I can call on my Heavenly Father! I am glad there is an open line of communication between the LORD and I.

Psalms 62:8 says, "Trust in Him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before Him: God is a refuge for us. Selah."

The word "Selah" means... "Stop... and think about that!" What a friend we have in Jesus! I encourage you to pick up the transmitter and speak with the One who made you and made a way for you! There is nothing like the sound of His voice over the airways of your heart. He's always listening!
