The Ecolibrium program at the Loisaida Center is conducting a holistic assessment of our Lower East Side neighborhood. We study how the built and natural urban environment influences our lives, health, and safety, and how we can use what we learn to better plan and improve our buildings, natural environment, and indoor & outdoor air quality, while reducing energy use and eliminating harmful emissions that harm our health and accelerate climate change.

Become a member our our multi-disciplinary team!

Are you are interested in learning about climate change, air quality, environmental harms, and public health while developing skills and understanding of data analysis, environmental sensing/monitoring, public engagement, science communications through the use of story telling and digital tools?
