Highway 5 intersection improvements: Final design work is being completed for improvements to the Highway 5/E. Shuswap Rd. intersection. This will included widening of E. Shuswap to accommodate dual left turn lanes, extending of the left turn lane on the highway coming from the north, and moving traffic light islands to accommodate these changes. Work is expected to start in late spring and be completed by late summer.

Entrance roundabout: This project too is in final design. Construction is planned to start this summer and will include a roundabout at the Sun Rivers entrance with a realigned access to the Tk'emlups lands to the south. This project will take most of the year to complete.

Village Centre: We hope to be able to announce details on planned construction in the Village Centre in the near future, as soon as plans are completed. Watch for this and other new construction details coming soon.
SPRING IS ALMOST HERE (or so we hope!)
Christmas lights
A reminder, Christmas lights are to be removed from the homes by the end of February, of course, weather permitting. We will extend the time to remove lights should weather conditions not be safe to do so over the next ten days.
Exterior or landscape alterations
A reminder, if you plan any changes to the exterior of your property, including but not limited to painting the exterior, adding decks or patios, or landscape changes, exterior alterations require approval of CSROA and your Neighbourhood Board. Simply provide details along with the application form which can be found at
Golf Course Access
Walking access on the golf course continues to be available until the golf course opens for the season. We thank Big Horn for allowing access to residents over the winter months. Once golfing starts access is limited to golfers only.
Remember, when accessing the golf course, you are not permitted to cross other private property to access the course. Please respect other residents privacy.
Sue Perry of Sagewood has had to step down as director of CSROA as she is no longer President of Sagewood. Sue has been a director since 2018. We thank Sue for her contribution to Sun Rivers both as a director of your Community Association and as a director for Sagewood.

Lenore Mallais of 9th Green has been appointed as director to replace Sue. We welcome Lenore to the Board and look forward to working with her.
Tk'emlups te Secwepemc (TteS) pays an annual fee to the City of Kamloops for the right for residents on the Kamloops Reserve to access City facilities. This payment is on a per home basis for all homes located on TteS lands. TteS residents can access all City facilities on the same basis as City residents. Where user fees apply, Sun Rivers residents pay the same user fee as City residents.
The Playground Committee has been working hard on details for the planned playground in Sun Rivers. A proposal will be submitted to the CSROA Board of Directors shortly for review. Once approved, plans will be put in place to acquire equipment and construct the playground. The Committee will also be undertaking some fund raising and looking for donations, including in-kind donations, to supplement the budget.
