OUR SUNDAY SCHEDULE

2024 Schedule

All Sunday School Classes will be meeting. We will have a new Sunday School class for preschool children aged 2+ or preschoolers can go to the nursery.

From Sunday - 10:00 a.m.

What’s In A Name

John 8:58

Who is Jesus?

John’s gospel is written to answer one question: Who is Jesus? But he is not interested so much in the man, Jesus of Nazareth, like the other three gospels, as he is in the exalted Christ. The distinction is echoed by Peter in his Pentecost sermon, “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” (Acts 2:36). Sunday we will examine the Christ that John knows and loves before we begin our Journey through the Gospel and study each “I am” statement Jesus made.

Dear Slash Church family,

I can't thank you enough for the care and concern I have received over the last few weeks.

The soft blanket with attached prayer that Michael brought me on his visit was so comforting. I appreciate the ride to the hospital, the meals, cards and calls. I surely miss all the children who come to the nursery and I will continue to work on getting stronger.

Love,

Julie Matthews
