Celebrate Holi with Us

Holi is the Hindu festival of colours which celebrates the beginning of spring! Hindus all over the world celebrate by cleaning their homes, worshipping, buying new clothes, eating delicious sweets, and wishing each other Happy Holi with a handful of coloured powder (gulaal).

Celebrate Holi in Residence this Monday, March 25 from 3 pm to 5 pm with samosas, sweets, gulaal, music in Matheson field (the field between Gordon - Brockington House and Morris Hall)!

Planning for Moving Out

It’s hard to believe move-out is coming up soon! We encourage you to prepare well ahead of time.

  • Your Winter 2024 Exam Schedule has been posted to your SOLUS account.
  • You are required to move out of residence by 3 pm the day following your last scheduled exam to maintain a quiet study environment for all students during the exam period.
  • If you’re writing an exam on Wednesday April 24, you must leave by noon on Thursday April 25.
  • All residences close at noon on April 25
  • The last dining hall meal will be brunch on April 25.

Working toward a wasteless move-out

Move-out tends to generate a significant amount of waste each year.

  • Consider taking items home that you no longer need ahead of time (like the upcoming long weekend if you’re planning on going home).
  • Start to set aside some items you want to donate (things like clothing, shoes, and usable school supplies). In the coming weeks, there will be donation stations set up for to you easily donate your unwanted items.
