Happy 2018! The holidays are behind us and so are countless big meals, festive desserts and, I’m going to guess, several skipped workouts.

Whether you made a resolution to start something new or plan to continue concentrating on living your healthiest life, Reston Community Center has you covered. We offer a wide variety of fitness and wellness programs for all ages. Dive in to an indoor water workout in the Terry L. Smith Aquatics Center at RCC Hunters Woods. Head over to RCC Lake Anne where winter sessions of popular classes such as Body Sculpting, Yoga and Zumba get underway this week. You can also amp up your physical fitness and fuel your body by participating in our nutrition programs. Our quick and convenient workshops feature topics such as natural healing, reading labels for health, and specific cooking classes led by health coach and author Cindy Santa Ana.

As you will see from our highlighted activities below, whether you are making moves for health and longevity, thinking ahead to your child’s summer, or considering community building with friends and neighbors for MLK Weekend, RCC is here to support you in 2018 and beyond.

Eileen Boone has been with RCC for 16 years, initially as the 55+ Program Director and for the past 11 years as the Leisure & Learning Department Director. She holds a bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Longwood University and is a Certified Program Planner and Certified Park and Recreation Executive (CPRE).
