Dear Village Resident,
The Village of Spring Grove has been contacted by the manager of our local Walgreens with a request to share the following message to Spring Grove residents and customers:
"A lot of people seem to be under the impression that this location is shutting down. I wanted to assure the community that this is not happening. We are a very profitable store with a successful pharmacy so there is no evidence we will be one of the locations closing.
I know that there is a 'list' going around that says that we are. This list was made sometime at the end of last year from an AI search engine stating that we were permanently closed. Since the news came out that some stores may be closing, this list has been re-posted by numerous news outlets as being factual. It is now on local social media accounts and has been causing confusion with our patients. Corporate has put out many statements that these lists are inaccurate, but the damage has already been done by them circulating.
Our phones have been ringing non-stop asking if the rumors are true, so I'm trying to do what I can to help spread the word that we are here to stay. We love being a part of this community and the loyalty of our patients is what will keep us here!"

The Spring Grove Firefighters Association has the Annual raffle tickets available. Stop in the administrative office at 8214 Richardson Road at the fire station between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday to get yours today. You can win up to $4,000!
These tickets support your local Spring Grove Firefighters. No more than 225 tickets will be sold! The drawing will take place at our annual steak fry on August 17th at 7:30p.m. and the winner does not need to be present.
