Elections Department Undergoes Successful Logic & Accuracy Test Ahead of the Primary Election

On Tuesday afternoon, the Pinal County Elections Department successfully passed the Logic and Accuracy test conducted by the Secretary of State's Office ahead of the July 30th Primary Election. The State tests accessible and tabulation equipment to ensure voting equipment is accurate and secure across all fifteen counties in Arizona. Continue reading

Register to Vote by Monday July 1 to Participate in the Upcoming Primary Election on July 30

This Monday, July 1, is the deadline to register to vote for the primary election on July 30, 2024. In the video below, Recorder Lewis explains the process of registering to vote or making changes online. Register or make changes by the deadline here.

Be Aware of Use Restrictions in Your Area

Fireworks are often used to mark special events and holidays. Under Arizona law, firework usage is permitted on 27 days of the year, around specified holidays.


Legal consumer fireworks are allowed around the Independence day holiday only between the following dates: June 24 - July 6. Check out our website for more ideas to celebrate safely this holiday!

Sandbag Information and Locations for Monsoon Season Rain

Monsoon season is here, so be prepared for rain! Pinal County provides sand and bags at all of our Maintenance Yards for county residents every monsoon season.


County Staff are not on-site to help fill sandbags; please be aware that you will need to bring your own shovel (if needed) and be able to load the bags. Sandbags are limited to 25 bags per household.
