Santa and Sirens Toy Drive

With the help of our friends at Valparaiso Fire Department, Valparaiso Police Department and the Porter County Sheriff, we are excited to once again host the Santa and Sirens Toy Drive! This event is a stationary display of emergency vehicles from 4pm - 6pm that you and your family can drive through and enjoy, complete with Santa, flashing lights, treats, and fun. Don't forget your toy donation!

Grocery Shopping Without a Car

Cooking from home gives you control over your food choices AND your wallet! This program, meeting at Banta Center at 2pm, is taught by health professionals at Community Healthcare System and supported by the American Heart Association. This should be on your to-do list you are without a car during the blustery winter weather! Registration ends THIS Friday, December 9.

Toys for Tots Donations

We are now taking donations to Toys for Tots at the Valpo Parks Admin Office, 3210 N Campbell St, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Toys should not be gift-wrapped, and cash donations are also accepted. We look forward to helping fulfill the holiday wishes of children within our community!

Soap Making Craft Class

Ages 5+ | Saturday, January 14

Join us to learn how to make your own soap and start learning to "live off the land." Other homesteading activities can include all sorts of activities from growing food and raising animals. Class includes all materials plus snacks. Registration ends January 5.

Winter Youth Volleyball

Grades 4 - 6 | January 5 - March 9

NEW this year! Winter volleyball runs as a league, with practice days, scrimmages, and game days for a rounded out, more enriching experience. This league is a great way for your athlete to develop individual and team skills while experiencing game situations and drills for the sport of volleyball. Registration ends December 19.
