Since The Way Home was launched in March, OKCMAR members have helped 40 formerly unhoused individuals settle into their new homes and transformed rooms at the Homeless Alliance into a more soothing environment for clients. On August 23rd we will be celebrating the official launch of The Way Home gift fund, which will support organizations providing services to those experiencing homelessness. More details to come!

NAR is investigating reports of an unauthorized third-party attempting to sell health insurance on the organization's behalf. If you receive communications offering health insurance from NAR, please do not respond or provide any personal or financial information. See more details and access resources.

Bring your dogs to the commercial reception happy hour! There will be an ice cream party for them-so please RSVP yourself and your special guests on the membership portal.

During this event we will also be taking donations for the pawed clients of the Homeless Alliance. "Our top pet needs are leashes, collars and collapsible bowls, " said Homeless Alliance Director of Development Carrie Sauer. "Many people don’t know that dogs can ride the EMBARK bus, but even well-behaved ones must have a leash, which can be a barrier for folks to access transportation. And of course, bowls are essential to keep pets hydrated on the road."

Donations of food for senior dogs and puppies would also be much appreciated. The Homeless Alliance's partnership with Two Legs Four Paws provides access to pallets of dog food. "It is typically hard kibble, so it would be great to have soft pouch food (such as Purina's Moist & Meaty) for seniors and puppies," said Sauer.
