Kara Ward has been volunteering with little ones for quite a few years now and has always had a way with all the babies. You can definitely see the love and passion she has for all the children who have come in contact with her and how the children still run to Mrs. Kara even as they are continuing to grow up. She calms the tears from babies and the fears from mothers as they know their child is in great, caring hands. Whether she is doing mermaid makeup for an event or rocking a baby to sleep, Kara's heart is in it and we love her for it!
Here is what the person who nominated her had to say - "She is a baby whisperer and loves helping with the little ones. You can always find her in the nursery helping every Sunday."

- PreK Worship Care: 2 plus years
- Childcare Worker: 6 plus years
- Lamb Room VBS worker for the past 5 years
- Helping with anything needed in the PreK area when asked. Whether it’s being a mermaid or rocking a baby if needed.
