B'nai Jehudah is Hiring Teachers!

We're hiring teachers for grades 2, 3 and 5 and assistant teachers for Hebrew classes in grades 4, 5 and 6. Our B'nai Jehudah community is growing, and so is our need to expand our Sunday morning religious school faculty.

We are seeking loving, energetic and creative adults to guide our students through meaningful Jewish educational experiences.

Sunday mornings include:

  • Teaching team meetings before classes begin
  • Lessons and activities from the Chai Curriculum
  • T’filah (prayers) led by our rabbis and Laura Payne
  • Building community and friendships
  • Hebrew for grades 4-6
  • Chuggim (elective) activities for grades 1-3
  • Playground time for pre-K and kindergarten

Yalla! Let's explore our Judaism together!

For more information, contact Dayna Gershon, Director of Youth Education, at education@bnaijehudah.org or (913) 663-3047.

From the Klein Collection: Yad

Before it was part of a yad, the handle of this 20th-century piece was actually a knife! The blade was removed and the body of the yad was added to make an entirely new piece. The Klein Collection is home to many pieces of Judaica that were repurposed from other objects.

Want to learn more about the Klein Collection or schedule a group tour? Contact Abby Magariel at curator@bnaijehudah.org for more information.
