The City of Miami Beach invites you to join us for SoundScape Cinema Series every Wednesday from October through May at 8 p.m. Bring your blankets, chairs, and popcorn. These free, outdoor movie screenings in Soundscape Park can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Join the City of Miami Beach for Culture Crawl this Thursday, May 16 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Miami Beach comes alive with culture as various institutions and buildings open their doors to give you just a taste of what they have to offer. Enjoy free admissions and performances every third Thursday of the month, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

From backstage tours, exhibition openings and free film screenings in the park, there will be something for everyone. All events are free unless otherwise noted. The majority of the programming is accessible by foot and by bike, but we will also offer free dedicated trolleys that will drop you off and pick you up – check out the Culture Crawl Trolley Stop map to find your closest stop. Start where you would like and explore at your own leisure.

From 12 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26, join the City of Miami Beach in Lummus Park between 11 and 14 street for "The Greatest Show Above the Earth®" showcasing the men, women, technology and equipment from all five branches of the United States Military as well as our police, firefighters and their first responder agencies.

This free and open to the public, two-day spectacular event features offshore powerboat racing exhibitions, extreme water sports, the FPL Patriot Display Village, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Kids Zone, Action Zone Mission BBQ Food Court and more, all on the beautiful shores of Miami Beach.

Stay late on Saturday, May 25 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for Music Explosion presented by Hyundai which will include music and a fireworks demonstration. Be sure to visit the City of Miami Beach website for a full list of details and event activations.

Starting with the Miami Beach Parks & Recreation 2024 Summer Camp. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every weekday from Monday, June 10 through Friday, August 9 for kids in grades K - 12. Every day is a new adventure at the Scott Rakow Youth Center.

This summer The Bass Museum presents Summer Art Camp for Kids! Each week is a different art theme to keep your child's inner artist engaged on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. starting Monday, June 10 through Friday, August 9. This camp is best for kids ages 5 - 12.

Join Moonlighter FabLab for their Summer Camp Series 2024! With A new theme each week, your young maker will be presented with a set of projects that will challenge them to think critically, curiously, and creatively. Ideal for children ages 7-12, build with real tools and materials, balance of digital skills and hands-on activities Monday, Jun 10 through Friday, August 9 on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Miami New Drama presents Summer Camp: MiND Summer Theatre Intensive on weekdays from Monday, June 24 through Friday, July 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Five weeks of theatrical fun at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden and Miami Beach Regional Library. This program is designed for ages 8-12 to design and develop your skills as a young actor, playwright, and well-rounded theater artist.
