Fiddle Tunes Jams

Wed., June 12, from 12 noon - 2 pm

Feel free to bring your lunch and join us for some toe-tapping music! Our Fiddle Tune Jams friends are back, with local musicians on the ukulele, banjo, fiddle, stand up base and more. Musicians are welcome to bring your own instruments and join the jam.

Capital City Band of TCC

Mon., June 17, 7:15 pm

In the evening, Capital City Band of TCC takes the stage in the Auditorium. Be swept away by concert band music as they treat us to "Chansons de Normandie" featuring a special Patriotic Sing-Along that will fill your heart with pride. $5 donation at the door; children under 12 are free, making it a perfect family outing.

By Land and By Sea - Lifelong Learning Talk & Art Reception

Thur., June 13, 5:30 pm - Jack & Cypress Rudloe from Gulf Specimen Marine Lab will be here to discuss the connection between the land and the sea. Enjoy appetizers and beverages while viewing gorgeous artwork.

Art Therapy is an exploration of feelings, experiences, and fostering community using art.

No art experience or talent needed! Our focus will be on the process of art-making rather than the product. There is no wrong way to do it!

Volunteer Coordinator (minimum of 20 hours per week) oversees the Volunteer Program and assists with the Southside Outreach Program. Primary duties include reviewing and processing volunteer applications, recruiting, interviewing and placing applicants, overseeing volunteer orientation, maintaining volunteer records, managing and updating volunteer policies and procedures, and organizing volunteer recognition events. 

Southside Outreach Program Coordinator (24 hours per week) The purpose of this program is to encourage and provide the tools for seniors to live healthier, more active lifestyles, achieve optimal aging, and be socially fit. Duties of this position include development, coordination, implementation, evaluation, and promotion of senior programs offered in Southside and other under-served Tallahassee communities.
