The State of Florida and FEMA have opened a Disaster Recovery Center in Leon County, to provide one-on-one help to people affected by the May 10 severe storms and tornadoes.
Location: LeRoy Collins Main Library - 200 W Park Ave.
Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 7 pm/ Friday through Sunday, 8 am to 6 pm (closed July 4). Deadline for application: August 19, 2024
Disaster Survivor Assistance Teams: FEMA Teams continue to perform community outreach and assist with FEMA application process.
FEMA will rotate through the following County sites:
Woodville Community Center (8000 Old Woodville Rd.)
Monday 7/1/2024 through Friday 7/5/2024 - 8 am to 7 pm
Apalachee Regional Park (7550 Apalachee Pkwy.)
Sunday 7/7/2024 through Sunday 7/14/2024 - 8 am to 7 pm
Ft. Braden Community Center (16387 Blountstown Hwy.)
Monday 7/15/2024 through Sunday 7/19/2024 - 8 am to 7 pm
In addition to visiting a center, people can apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov or call 800-621-3362, 7 am to 11 pm daily.
