Automotive Safety + Self Defense & Personal Safety

A two-part presentation! Learn the importance of keeping your vehicle maintained, including some hand-on activities for simple things you can do to keep your vehicle safely on the road for longer.
This second part includes a workshop on how to avoid becoming a victim. When verbal or physical response is needed to counter an immediate threat, you can be prepared to react and have a favorable outcome with common-sense recommendations from the experts.

• Looking for a rewarding Volunteer job? The Senior Center is looking for Volunteer Receptionists on both a permanent and a substitute basis. The Receptionist is the first person visitors see at the Senior Center and answers the main phone line. The permanent position would be every Thursday from 12:30-5pm. Subs are on an as-needed basis.
