Hunt Engineers Acquires Shumaker Consulting
HUNT Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors & Landscape Architect, DPC has announced the acquisition of Shumaker Consulting Engineering and Land Surveying, DPC.

HUNT is a full service leader in engineering, architectural, land surveying and landscape architectural services. Shumaker Consulting is a civil and environmental engineering and geomatics firm.

The acquisition will assist in in the diversification of HUNT's full-service capabilities as a provider of professional services within the disciplines of engineering. Shumaker will be fully rebranded as HUNT, and will retain their existing offices. The partnership will create an enhanced connection and increase the HUNT family.

State of the State
The NY State of the State event at Ill Eagle Event Center took place on February 14th. STEG was able to attend to hear an update from NYS Mental Health Commissioner Dr. Ann Marie Sullivan, who was introduced by STEG President, Joe Roman.

The presentation provided an update on Governor Kathy Hochul's "Achieving the New York Dream" agenda and budget, which includes 147 initiatives to create a more affordable, more livable, and safer New York while opening doors to communities and people who have historically been blocked from equal chances to success.
