What: The SPAN Open House & Donor Wall Unveiling

Newark, NJ


You're invited to join us on September 18 as we show-off our new offices and give you the opportunity to meet our dedicated Program Directors, learn about the present breadth of our programs, and participate in the unveiling of our brand-new "Tree of Gratitude" donor wall.


This will be a great opportunity for you to understand more about all that SPAN does today, as we have now grown to over 40 programs, that are supported, in part, by donations from our community.


Refreshments will be served, and you are welcome to stop by any time between the hours of 1:00 and 7:00 PM.

July Is BIPOC Mental Health Month - the BIPOC Mental Health Toolkit Now Available in Spanish - Plus More


As introduced in last week's newsletter, Mental Health America's (MHA) 2024 BIPOC Mental Health Toolkit can guide your organization's awareness efforts and help individuals navigate mental health stigma, bridge generational differences, dismantle mental health myths, and encourage meaningful conversations.


The toolkit is now available in Spanish. To download it now, click here.

Vaccine Information Toolkits for Parents and Guardians


The Vaccine Preventable Disease Program at the NJ Department of Health works to reduce and eliminate the incidence of vaccine-preventable diseases affecting children, adolescents, and older adults by raising the immunization coverage rates of New Jersey citizens.


The Program has recently released five helpful educational toolkits for parents and guardians to help with potential vaccine related issues with children in their care. They are available for download in both English and Spanish below.
