Jericho’s Operations and Building Development team are thrilled to share the news that they have successfully obtained a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) for the initial phase of construction, encompassing 1842 Anthony Avenue, marking the completion of the first phase of the project in late March. SUDS + SELFCARE: Soap Making Class at the Edith McGuire Residence
On January 31st, tenants and staff at the Edith McGuire Residence enjoyed a basic Melt and Pour Soap class. With tables including ingredients and soap molds set up for everyone to use, all participants had the opportunity to learn something fun and relaxing. Under the guidance of our skilled Intake Coordinator, Lisa McGainey, five staff and five tenants participated in the soap-making class. Tenants and staff had fun making their own soaps from scratch while listening to some classical music in the background. By the end of the class, everyone proudly showed off their creations, feeling relaxed and accomplished. This class wasn't just about making soap—it brought tenants and staff closer together and provided a sense of community. A big thank you goes out to Lisa for her invaluable guidance and support in organizing and leading the soap-making class at the Edith McGuire Residence. Your dedication and expertise contributed to creating a memorable and enriching experience for both tenants and staff. We deeply appreciate all that you do to enhance the sense of community and well-being within our organization. Please enjoy some photos from the class below.
