What's New at The Center for Mindful Body Awareness?

Dear Colleagues ~

First, we offered two live webinars free and open to the public, highlighting findings from MABT research. The first was focused on an implementation science pilot of MABT for chronic pain, and the second was the initial findings from a NIH-funded study of MABT for people on medication for opioid use disorder. If you’d like access to either, please email and we can send you a link to view the recording.

In addition, we put on our first continuing education/community building 2 -day retreat for those trained at any level in MABT. We had a great time and hope to make this an annual event!

We also started a free quarterly webinar series for MABT trained folks. The next webinar is on April 25th from 5-6pm pacific time with a presentation by Megan Sherman LMT, MA titled: A sense of awe and wonder: Personalized spiritual experience among participants learning interoceptive awareness in a study of Mindful Awareness in Body-oriented Therapy for people in Medication Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder. See registration link sent to your email if you are MABT trained!
