Rockstar Energy Bike Park Now Open
After years of planning, the much anticipated bike park in the North Houston District officially opened on
August 16.

Mayor Sylvester Turner, Harris County Commissioner Rodney Ellis - Precinct 1, Houston City Council Member Jerry Davis - District B, Harris County - Houston Sports Authority CEO Janis Burke, N. Houston Development Corp. Executive Director Sally Bradford and other community leaders celebrated alongside Rockstar Energy Drink , the bike park 's major sponsor.

The 20-acre park will serve as the host site for national and international BMX bike competitions this fall and in 2020. Exciting things are happening here!

National Night Out, Oct. 1
Last year, we hosted one of the most televised National Night Outs in Houston, and we're gearing up for another action-packed night of fun and public safety awareness!

Residents, businesses and community partners are invited to meet local law enforcement members and leaders on Oct. 1 at
Tom Wussow Park. Bring the kiddos!
