Hello Sweet Home community,

As we head into May, plenty of exciting events are happening across our town that we want to share with you. From yard sales to farmers' markets and fun runs, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Signups are now open for the Sweet Home Community Yard Sales on May 13th, June 17th, July 8th, and August 5th. These yard sales are the perfect opportunity to find great deals on various items while enjoying a beautiful day outside. So whether you're looking for antiques, furniture, or toys, you will find something that catches your eye at one of these yard sales.

Next, the Sweet Home Farmers' Market season starts on May 16th and runs every Tuesday from 2 pm-6 pm at the public parking lot at 1141 12th Ave. Here you can browse through a variety of fresh, locally-grown produce. The market is a great way to support local farmers and small businesses while getting some fresh air and exercise.

If you're looking for a fun way to be active this spring, consider participating in the 1st Annual Rabbit Run, a 1-mile fun run on May 20th. This event is perfect for families and individuals of all ages and fitness levels. It's a great way to get outside and enjoy some physical activity while having fun with friends and neighbors.

Finally, we're excited to announce the City of Sweet Home's new Community Market, which begins on Saturdays starting May 20th. This market is a great way to support local artisans and small businesses while enjoying a day out with friends and family.
We hope you'll take advantage of these exciting events across Sweet Home this May. We're committed to supporting our community and bringing people together through fun and engaging activities.

Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to seeing you soon. Please continue reading for helpful tips, grant information & upcoming events.

Warm regards,
Thank you to our 2023 Elite Partners!

Sweet Home Community Yard Sale
If your garage, shop, and closets are full of spring cleaning casualties, submit your address to have your yard sale on the Sweet Home Community Yard Sale map! And if you're looking for great deals on household items, furniture, and other goodies. In that case, you will want to attend the upcoming community yard sales on May 13th, June 17th, July 8th & August 5th! To make it easier for shoppers to find all the sales, the Sweet Home Chamber of Commerce will provide a map of all the participating properties. You can pick up a printed copy of the map the Friday before the sale at the Sweet Home Chamber of Commerce, City Hall, or the garage sale board at 18th & Long Street. The community yard sale isn't just about finding great deals. It's also a chance to get out and meet your neighbors and other community members. Many of the sales will be hosted by families looking to downsize or clear out some clutter. So you can strike up a conversation and make some new friends! If you want to host a sale at your property, sign up at sweethomechamber.com or below
