Inaugural Art Exhibition

THIS SATURDAY kicks off  The Franciscan Center's Inaugural Art Exhibition, featuring work by Patricia O'Brien.  Swing by any time between 11:00am - 4:00pm on March 10 to meet Patricia and to view the work!
  • $5 at the door goes to support the Franciscan Center's programming, and enters you in a drawing to win an archival quality print.
  • 365 original paintings available for $95 each.
  • Select archival quality prints available for $50 each.
  • 50% of the proceeds from all artwork purchased goes to support the Franciscan Center.
  • Light refreshments provided.
  • The remaining work will be available for sale on our website starting March 11.
Spring Food Drive

Join us for our Spring Food Drive on Thursday, March 22 from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at R. House, and help restock our emergency food pantry with non-perishable food items! The first 50 people who bring a bag of food will receive a free drink coupon, and our guests will enjoy live music by Cecilia Grace.

The Franciscan Center celebrates its 50th anniversary of service to the community on September 10th, and the good people of Baltimore helped to make this possible! We are collecting stories from people whose lives we've touched throughout the past 50 years, whether as volunteers, supporters, staff or guests.

Little Portion Farm: A Franciscan Farm in Ellicott City

Starting this spring a new Franciscan farm will be established in Ellicott City! Named Little Portion Farm, this joint venture between the Franciscan Friars Conventual, Mary's Land Farm, and the Franciscan Center will be a truly Franciscan effort to offer "farm-to-table" food to our guests. We are so grateful to our partners in this exciting new project!
 
The Friars are hosting a "Blessing of the Fields" on April 12th at 12:30 p.m. at the Shrine of St. Anthony in Ellicott City.
