What do nonprofits need most?
Nellie Tsai, Social Innovation Officer for the Michigan Nonprofit Association, joined our March Coffee & Conversation event and shared incredible perspective about the state of Michigan nonprofits. There were a number of key takeaways, but what struck many of us the most was her suggestion that 2022 will be an even more difficult year for nonprofits to raise the funds needed to support their programs (see short clip above).
Micah 6 Community (our 2020 grant winner) continues to be an innovative leader for the Pontiac community. They are transforming the former Webster Elementary School building into a community center and already 100% of the space is committed by organizations who will provide service in four main areas: Arts & Culture, Youth Programs, Health & Wellness and Entrepreneurship. Learn more about Webster on their website.
Micah 6 is asking for help from our community with introductions to corporate, foundation and community leaders. Can you help?
Though we haven't even awarded our 2021 grants yet, we are already building our membership for 2022. Thank you to the women below who joined us in March! Want to renew today but pay later? No problem. Fill out the form and let us know you're in today, but pay anytime before December 31.
