Osteopathic Medicine Celebrates its Sesquicentennial Year 


A full 150 years ago, on June 22, 1874, Dr. Andrew Taylor Still declared the founding of osteopathic medicine.  Every day since that day, humanity has reaped the benefit of his meticulous study.

Highlighting the LECOM School of Health Services Administration and its Graduates 

The LECOM Doctor of Health Administration (DHA) Program was established in July of 2020 to prepare health professionals to become innovative leaders and problem solvers within the healthcare industry, blending the theoretical with the practical. The extensive DHA coursework is delivered during a 3-year period, and it provides students with the holistic knowledge needed to transition into careers that improve and influence health systems and related organizations.

Probative Inquiry Flourishes During LECOM Research Day

The LECOM Bradenton Interprofessional Research Day 2024 was held on April 25, 2024, with a total of 278 student research projects submitted and representing each of the LECOM campuses. More than 1,000 projects have been completed since 2016.
