United Health Care Now Requires Multi-Factor Authentication

United health Care is updating it's UHC Members Hub to require multi-factor authentication when logging in. Upon entering their username and password on the UHC Member Hub, members currently use security questions for MFA will confirm their identity by answering a security question.

Once verified, they will be informed that security questions have been removed as an option for authentication. They will then be asked to select a phone-based MFA method and enter a phone number. After their phone number has been verified with the code sent to their phone, they will be directed to the member portal.
